After almost four decades as Director of Operations for GE Financial, I retired and began tutoring. The five years I have spent as a tutor have given me a wealth of experience in teaching Mathematics to grade school and university students. Helping students is a passion of mine, and I have found the experience to be incredibly rewarding.At present, I am looking to continue tutoring students in Mathematics and am open to helping with classes in Algebra, Calculus, Statistics, and general Math for grades three to twelve. I am also willing to tutor students in Engineering, Science, and ACCUPLACER and SAT test preparation.I see tutoring as an opportunity to share the learning strategies and methods that have worked for me over the course of my career. Sharing means adapting my knowledge to the students I am working with, framing my explanations in simple terms, and avoiding overly technical terminology. My methodology is also supported by a strong educational background €“ I hold degrees from the Indian Institute of Technology and Mississippi State University.When I have time to myself, I enjoy jogging or playing a good game of tennis.
